Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborates with stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, payers, and IT teams, to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translates healthcare workflows into functional specifications to support system enhancements and new solutions.
Process Improvement:
- Analyzes existing healthcare processes such as claims, billing, EMR/EHR systems, patient engagement, and provider networks to identify inefficiencies.
- Recommends process improvements aligned with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, HL7, ICD-10, and FHIR.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Works with healthcare datasets, including clinical, financial, and operational data, to derive insights.
- Develops dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports to support decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Acts as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Facilitates workshops, meetings, and presentations to engage stakeholders and drive consensus.
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensures that solutions adhere to healthcare compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Stays updated on evolving regulations and best practices.
Solution Implementation:
- Supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating solutions against business requirements.
- Assists in change management activities, including end-user training and adoption support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Possesses 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years within the healthcare domain.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of healthcare systems, including EHR/EMR, claims processing, and payer-provider workflows.
- Has familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, and SNOMED.
- Exhibits proficiency in tools including MS Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and requirement management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Shows excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Applies strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address business challenges.
