Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own system applications (control plane specific) while working closely with requirement and customer account teams, maintaining a strong customer-focused approach.
- Understand, drive, and deliver system-wide features by contributing across the entire lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, and deployment.
- Design and develop software for system-level applications, incorporating concepts such as inter-process communication, threading, and other operating system fundamentals.
- Contribute to system software design and implementation within embedded system environments.
- Work with boot processes on x86 processors, including support for multi-operating system environments using technologies such as U-Boot and Coreboot.
- Support the development and integration of single-chassis and multi-chassis system architectures.
- Participate in automated testing activities within the software development environment to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and validate embedded system solutions.
- Continuously build expertise in embedded systems and system engineering practices while contributing to advanced system-level development initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized or premier institution in a relevant field.
Required Skills and Expectations:
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in one or more languages such as C, C++, Golang, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Have exposure to software development on embedded or Linux platforms; prior work experience is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong programming capabilities.
- Exhibit the ability to quickly learn and understand software architecture and module design concepts.
- Demonstrate the capacity to analyze and understand complex legacy code while developing and integrating new features effectively.
