Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data quality and validation rules across key UK business data to mitigate data risks, ensuring adherence to data quality dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, uniqueness, and validity.
- Manage the remediation of data quality issues by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and address systemic data quality issues.
- Conduct thorough testing of data quality fixes to confirm that underlying root causes have been effectively resolved.
- Monitor data pipelines to detect, highlight, and resolve integration errors in a timely manner.
- Analyze datasets to identify errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with the data management team to contribute to and support a high-performing data quality function.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess hands-on experience in data quality management with a strong understanding of evolving data quality best practices.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of data flows across banking operations, from front-office functions to operational processes.
- Have experience in measuring, assessing, and enhancing data quality within a large global organization.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Have proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders and remediation teams, including data and IT architects and engineers, to identify and resolve data-related issues.
- Be proficient in enterprise data quality and governance tools, with strong expertise in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Python, BI tools, Confluence, and Jira is considered an added advantage.
- Possess experience working at a regional or global scale across multiple time zones, geographies, and remote teams.
