Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Java/JEE technology stack for enterprise environments.
- Leverage Java frameworks and web technologies, including languages such as Ruby or Groovy, to build and support scalable web-based enterprise applications.
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and performance improvements for applications built on the Java platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Applications: Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Java/JEE technology stack, leveraging appropriate Java frameworks and web technologies such as Ruby or Groovy
- Implement Transaction Management: Implement transaction management processes, manage Java objects effectively, and support enterprise application development initiatives
- Apply Development Methodologies: Apply established development practices including dependency injection, inversion of control (IoC), aspect-oriented programming (AOP), functional programming, test-driven development (TDD), data access frameworks, transaction management frameworks, and batch processing techniques
- Utilize DevOps Methodologies: Adopt and implement DevOps tools and practices to streamline application development, integration, testing, and deployment processes
- Integrate Enterprise Systems: Integrate enterprise systems to ensure seamless functionality, reliable performance, and secure data exchange across applications
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Hold a BE/BTech, ME/MTech, M.Sc, or MCA degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related disciplines (including CSE, AIML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, CSBS, IoT, Robotics, AI, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc.) with a minimum of 6 CGPA or 60%.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Node.js.
- Possess a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and methodologies.
- Must not have any active academic backlogs at the time of application.
- This is an entry-level off-campus hiring position; candidates must have completed their degree prior to the commencement of employment with IBM.
- Only candidates who graduated in the years 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Possess exposure to scripting languages such as Ruby or Groovy for web development to enhance application functionality and user experience.
- Demonstrate familiarity with data access frameworks to support efficient data management and enterprise application integration.
- Have an understanding of batch processing concepts and techniques to facilitate effective data processing and system integration.
