Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to backend development activities for Intersight (SaaS and on-premise appliance-based) management software, including scoping, planning, design, implementation, testing, and cross-team coordination.
- Participate in feature development initiatives while actively enhancing product quality and improving overall customer experience.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry best practices related to platform scalability and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate within Agile teams, following continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure efficient software delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with 0–2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrate strong programming proficiency in languages such as Go, C++, Java, or Python, along with solid object-oriented design skills.
- Possess strong fundamentals in distributed computing, data structures, and algorithms.
- Exhibit a good understanding of Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and networking fundamentals.
- Show familiarity with development and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skills:
- Have hands-on experience in software and product development, preferably in cloud computing and distributed systems within Linux and virtual machine environments.
- Possess experience working with virtualization platforms such as vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Demonstrate an understanding of microservices architecture using containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Be a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership.
