Key Responsibilities:
- Apply statistical, mathematical, machine learning, and software engineering techniques to design, develop, and implement end-to-end data science models in an ethical and scalable manner.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, formulate hypotheses, and identify appropriate data-driven and analytical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Use data translation skills to define clear business questions, problems, and opportunities that can be addressed through analytics and data science solutions.
- Apply software engineering and product development principles to design, build, scale, and deploy data-driven products and services.
- Work in an Agile environment as part of a multidisciplinary data and analytics team to deliver project goals and meet sprint objectives.
- Select appropriate machine learning techniques and build, train, validate, and test models while considering model evaluation, risk, governance, and ethical standards.
- Ensure that developed machine learning models are production-ready, scalable, and aligned with organizational governance and compliance requirements.
- Iteratively develop, refine, and prototype data analysis pipelines to generate actionable insights and support deployment into production environments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must possess a strong academic background in a STEM discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Should have practical experience in statistical modeling and applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Must demonstrate the ability to use data effectively to solve business problems, from hypothesis formulation through analysis and final resolution.
- Should have experience with programming languages and a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Must have exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-based applications, including an understanding of available services and deployment options.
- Should have experience in exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights from data.
- Must be capable of synthesizing, translating, and visualizing data insights in a clear and meaningful way for business stakeholders.
- Should possess knowledge of financial services concepts and demonstrate the ability to identify business impact, risks, and opportunities.
- Must have the ability to connect analytical outputs with broader business processes and strategic objectives.
- Should have strong communication skills and the ability to proactively collaborate with and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
