Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling to maintain a minimum target of two weeks’ inventory levels.
- Utilize Oracle and Digital Cockpit systems effectively to manage inventory planning and tracking activities.
- Ensure system accuracy of inventory records through regular monitoring and reconciliation.
- Manage material rescheduling activities, including pull-ins (expedites) and push-outs, to optimize inventory levels and control costs.
- Conduct daily root cause analysis of material shortages and implement timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers on packaging requirements, min/max planning, material replenishment strategies, and root cause problem-solving initiatives.
- Perform daily floor and receiving dock walks to investigate and resolve material receipt and inventory discrepancies.
- Support material transfers and participate in supplier performance reviews in coordination with the Sourcing team.
- Manage Phase-In and Phase-Out (NPI) processes effectively to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of MRP systems and ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
