Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end customer support experience for Atlassian products.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues by applying structured troubleshooting practices, collaboration, and transparent communication across teams.
  • Escalate complex or critical issues in a timely manner in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles to document new learnings and enable knowledge reuse across the organization.
  • Actively participate in technical discussions within the Technical Support team to share best practices and stay updated on new tools and technologies.
  • Build and maintain expertise in a specific technical domain by focusing on an area of specialization and attending relevant technical training.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work schedules, including modified work weeks and providing on-call support during non-working days when required.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Strong technical proficiency in databases, with the ability to write, modify, and optimize SQL queries.
  • Experience in log searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data using web-based interfaces or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience working with APIs and RESTful services.
  • Solid front-end troubleshooting skills and understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, proxies, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting commands to identify root causes of network issues.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Java-based applications, including analyzing stack traces and resolving Java exceptions.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Technical Support, Software Services, or System Administration supporting a large end-user community.
  • Proven ability to de-escalate complex and high-pressure customer situations, including interactions with executive-level stakeholders, while managing support tickets and mentoring team members.
  • Hands-on experience supporting customers through multiple channels, including email, phone, chat, and screen-sharing sessions.
  • Experience working efficiently in a high-volume case or ticketing environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using browser developer tools, HAR file analysis, and tools such as Splunk.
  • Good understanding of OAuth-based authentication and other authentication mechanisms, including SSO and SAML.
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments.
  • Understanding of email flow concepts and protocols such as SMTP, POP, and IMAP.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is an added advantage.
