Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver analytics solutions to address and solve defined business problems.
- Extract, clean, and perform basic data transformations using spreadsheets, SQL, and other relevant analytical tools.
- Apply descriptive analytical techniques to assess business impact and identify key performance drivers.
- Generate actionable insights to support team decision-making by providing visibility into business performance, identifying anomalies, and uncovering new opportunities.
- Document analytical methodologies, including metric definitions, applied logic, assumptions, and data sources.
- Collaborate with technology teams to support the development and enhancement of portals, dashboards, and online tools, including validation of business logic.
- Communicate findings effectively through both written documentation and verbal presentations to team members and stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and apply analytical best practices to improve team efficiency and process effectiveness.
- Support team development by assisting in the training of new team members and contributing to overall team capability building.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess at least one year of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Demonstrate experience in defining business requirements and using data and metrics to derive actionable insights.
- Have hands-on experience with SQL or ETL processes for data extraction and transformation.
- Be proficient in data visualization tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Science, Statistics, or Symbolic Systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Have experience working with very large and complex datasets.
