Key Responsibilities:
- Define and establish requirements for less complex software design projects.
- Contribute to and support all phases of the software engineering design lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and testing.
- Analyze business and technical processes and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate analysis outcomes and recommend effective, data-driven solutions.
- Support the development of expected outcomes across a range of products and platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for new projects and review outcomes from previous initiatives.
- Apply the latest technologies and innovative approaches to enhance design, development, and deployment activities.
- Review, assess, and support changes or upgrades to existing designs, systems, or test processes.
- Exercise sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods, tools, and techniques to deliver solutions for assigned tasks.
- Operate within a cross-functional, Agile environment to manage, automate, and continuously improve software deployment processes.
- Apply automation technologies effectively to achieve continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous automation objectives.
- Design and build robust automation frameworks that enable solutions to operate with minimal manual intervention.
- Perform end-to-end testing of data ingestion, data pipelines, transformation processes, and data validation scenarios.
- Conduct data quality testing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of datasets.
- Validate data by executing database queries and verifying that results align with defined requirements and expectations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Experience:
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium.
- Solid understanding and application of test artifacts, test strategies, and testing methodologies.
- Ability to review data models, data mappings, and architectural documentation to design and execute effective System Integration Testing (SIT) test plans and test cases.
- Proven skills in analyzing and troubleshooting test failures, identifying root causes, and logging defects accurately.
- Experience writing code using object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java.
- Ability to write and execute database queries to extract and compare data for test validation.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
- Experience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and custom alerting mechanisms.
- Interest in advanced testing approaches, including genetic algorithm–based test generation frameworks.
- Ability to develop automated test scripts to detect software issues and perform root-cause analysis as part of QA automation efforts.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is an added advantage.
