Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions across multiple subsystems within the application, including requirements definition, prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Understand how the applications operate, are structured, and how customers use them in real-world scenarios.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and development tools to stay current with industry trends.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by creating clear documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and readable code.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement resolutions.
- Comply with internal quality systems and adhere to standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements during all coding activities.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in software development.
- Hands-on experience with Java, SQL, and JavaScript in enterprise applications.
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS, and modern development tools.
- Experience using IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
- Proficiency in using AI-powered development tools and frameworks (e.g., code generation, automated testing, intelligent debugging) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality in day-to-day workflows.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications and services, including working with APIs, machine learning models, and prompt engineering to build features that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Solid understanding of scripting and object-oriented software development principles.
- Functional knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Strong development skills and a good understanding of software development methodologies.
- Understanding of refactoring and re-engineering solutions.
- Thorough knowledge of software design principles and design patterns.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-native development or containerized deployments.
- Experience with agentic AI development tools and workflows.
- Knowledge of scientific data software, medical devices, or healthcare software.
