Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with leads and product owners to understand low to moderately complex business needs, demonstrating good verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform a range of data analysis, ETL, and data preparation tasks with limited supervision.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and work with other data engineers to deliver technical excellence in data profiling, mapping documentation, and performance tuning.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Basic understanding of ETL concepts and familiarity with tools such as Airflow and Informatica.
- Working knowledge of Python programming for data manipulation and automation.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Awareness of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, and exposure or hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, ADF Synapse, and SQL Server.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or MCA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from a reputed college or university.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong Python programming skills for data manipulation and automation, along with good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Awareness of product data and understanding of product lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
