Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the pod strategy by defining critical metrics, monitoring performance trends, and recommending interventions based on performance outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with business and product teams to understand business problems and translate them into well-defined analytical problem statements.
- Lead the entire insight generation process, performing in-depth analysis to deliver unbiased, data-driven answers to identified problem statements.
- Present evidence-based insights and hypotheses effectively to influence business decisions.
- Go beyond traditional data analysis by contributing independent ideas to improve pod metrics, approaching challenges with a business-owner mindset before validating them through data.
- Serve as the analytics and visualization subject matter expert (SME), ensuring dashboards are designed and built for easy data consumption by the pod.
- Mentor junior analysts, actively support the hiring process, and contribute to the onboarding of new team members.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of analytics experience in relevant roles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Keen business acumen with curiosity to understand product functionality.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to manipulate and consolidate multiple data sources for dashboarding and analysis.
- Strong intuition for data with the ability to handle large and complex data sources.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView.
- Understanding of data analysis languages such as R and Python, along with core statistical concepts; experience in building machine learning models is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain ideas and findings.
- Ability to tell compelling stories through data analysis, providing meaningful insights beyond numbers.
