Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the team, including coaching and providing ongoing performance feedback.
- Track the performance of individual team members over time to evaluate progress, learning, and capabilities.
- Effectively resolve any service issues escalated by internal or external customers.
- Act independently and take initiative without the need for detailed instructions or close supervision.
- Make sound, well-informed decisions based on data, insights, and experience.
- Build an effective and efficient team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and appropriate supervisory practices.
- Organize workflows and distribute work assignments appropriately.
- Support all aspects of client onboarding, including fulfilling Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, coach, and motivate teams effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage interim projects and processes based on changing business requirements.
- Solid knowledge of banking products.
- Proven track record of leading process improvements and driving organizational change.
- Strong ability to identify, analyze, plan, prioritize, and solve problems by providing practical solutions and executing them effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to cope with change and work comfortably in ambiguous situations.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in AML, Compliance, Fraud, KYC, or Operational Risk is an advantage.
- Proficiency in mainframe and PC-based systems, with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience managing high-performing teams.
