Key Responsibilities:
- Apply software engineering patterns and principles to design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex and diverse software solutions, while incorporating security best practices into newly developed and maintained applications.
- Participate in peer code review sessions to review code, coach team members, and ensure high code quality.
- Take a lead role within the assigned agile team by promoting agile principles, facilitating agile ceremonies, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Follow the company’s engineering and development best practices throughout the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and security principles, to deliver high-quality code efficiently.
- Collaborate to lead demonstration and continuous feedback sessions to improve development processes and help shape the long-term technical vision.
- Contribute to the engineering community by maintaining and sharing relevant technical approaches and up-to-date skills.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most critical or complex issues when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery, and security.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting applications, databases, services, or integrations.
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP object-oriented programming, including debugging and performance tuning.
- Experience in designing and developing solutions within SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
Preferred skills:
- Experience working with BAPIs, BADIs, the Enhancement Framework, CDS Views, AMDP, and BOPF.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and familiarity with technologies such as OData Services, PI/PO, ALE, MII, and IDOCs.
- Development experience using Adobe Forms.
- Exposure to Agricultural Commodity Management (ACM) or prior experience with Commodity Trading and Settlement.
- SAP ABAP certification.
- Understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) concepts.
