Key Responsibilities:
- Research, design, and develop software applications to extend and enhance Google’s product offerings.
- Contribute to diverse projects involving natural language processing, artificial intelligence, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies.
- Collaborate on addressing scalability challenges related to accessing and managing large volumes of data and information.
- Support and work collaboratively within a productive and innovative team, partnering with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficient in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.).
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with software design principles.
Preferred skills:
- Currently in the penultimate year of study.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to work on projects involving mobile development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, large-scale software systems, or security software development.
- Demonstrated interest in technology through tech projects or participation in computer science-related extracurricular activities.
