Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the Data Analytics (DA) strategy developed by Internal Audit (IA) management within the scope of audit responsibilities, including audit planning, development of analytical tools, and providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Partner with audit teams to identify risks associated with business processes and facilitate strategic data sourcing to develop innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit testing.
- Build production-ready analytical tools to automate repeatable and reusable processes within Internal Audit.
- Build and manage strong relationships and effective communication with Audit team members.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1–3 years of experience with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Experience working with RDBMS and SQL.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with familiarity in text analytics and natural language processing (NLP) using Python.
- Knowledge of basic statistics and statistical modelling techniques.
- Understanding of time series analysis, correlation, regression, and predictive modelling, and their application to data.
- Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey relevant information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong contributor to the Data Science team, supporting the development of analytical capabilities for the Internal Audit Division.
- Self-motivated, driven, and proactive in seeking opportunities to improve performance.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and exposure to supervised and unsupervised learning, including Linear/Logistic Regression, SVM, Random Forest, and Boosting.
- Knowledge of clustering and pattern recognition techniques.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Spotfire, QlikView, or Tableau.
- Creativity and innovation, with the ability to develop new ways to improve existing processes and deliver practical solutions that add value to the department.
