Key Responsibilities:
- Gather operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to analyze past business performance.
- Identify data patterns and trends, and provide insights to strengthen business decision-making in areas such as business planning, process improvement, and solution assessment.
- Recommend actions for future developments, strategic business opportunities, and enhancements to operational policies.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and/or qualitative analysis as required.
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate findings clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders.
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and enhance decision strategies.
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring the firm’s reputation is protected and Citigroup, its clients, and assets are safeguarded by complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
Skills:
- Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, process mapping, and process re-engineering methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Proficient in using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) to identify trends and present insights effectively.
- Automation & Programming: Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., SAS, PySpark) and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to design, develop, and implement automated solutions for operational processes.
- Business Acumen & Communication: Strong understanding of business operations and key financial metrics, with the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Customer Focus & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze customer feedback, including complaints and sentiment, identify pain points, and develop effective solutions to enhance the customer experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Domain Expertise (Finance/Banking): Solid knowledge of financial services operations, regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML), and industry best practices.
Years of Experience:
- 0–2 years (with a Master’s degree).
- 2–4 years (with a four-year Bachelor’s degree).
