Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all work is delivered within agreed timeframes and meets the required high-quality standards.
- Deliver a high-quality, customer-driven service that provides customers with a positive view of HSBC, meeting expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Understand and provide excellent customer service by processing customer instructions accurately to achieve agreed quality standards and targets across all assigned processes.
- Proactively suggest and design improvements in process workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Identify and escalate common errors and irregular transactions in accordance with established procedures in a timely manner.
- Comply with all relevant policies and procedures as outlined in the Group Standards Manual, Functional Instruction Manuals, Desk Instruction Books, and Process Guides.
- Remain aware of operational risk scenarios associated with the role and ensure that all actions consider and mitigate the likelihood of operational risks.
- Maintain HSBC’s internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, as well as addressing issues raised by external regulators.
- Acquire and update knowledge of procedures related to assigned processes, ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Investigate and resolve issues or problems effectively, or escalate them appropriately with recommendations.
- Respond promptly to urgent work demands and demonstrate flexibility with work timings as required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of fixed income, equities, derivatives, foreign exchange (FX), and money market products.
- Experience working with vendor systems such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg data feeds.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong understanding of derivatives, fixed income, equities, and FX rates.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including rotation shifts.
