Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipeline solutions on cloud-based infrastructure.
- Apply domain modeling techniques to develop high-quality, business-oriented products.
- Architect software for clarity, ease of testing, and future scalability.
- Develop scalable and resilient solutions that eliminate single points of failure.
- Write secure, robust code to safeguard customer data and organizational assets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring problems do not recur.
- Ensure seamless product releases with zero downtime for end-users.
- Optimize data storage and access mechanisms to meet performance requirements.
- Maintain high system reliability and ensure operational simplicity.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and architectural patterns.
- Provide ongoing support for products across their lifecycle, including managing incidents and production issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completed formal training or certification in data engineering principles and practices.
- Recent hands-on experience working in a data engineering role.
- Proficient in Python programming for data processing and automation tasks.
- Skilled in designing and implementing various testing strategies, including unit, component, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies and distributed system architectures.
- Experienced with data transformation frameworks and pipeline orchestration tools.
- Capable of managing and optimizing queries to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and services.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, including data streaming and messaging systems.
