Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire, update, and maintain high-quality alternative asset data using internal tools and software.
- Conduct comprehensive web-based research to collect information related to firms, funds, and transaction activities within the alternative assets space.
- Update Preqin’s databases with essential financial information, statistics, and analyses that support client decision-making.
- Contribute to complex data projects focused on improving data quality, re-engineering processes, and optimizing workflows.
- Develop subject matter expertise to strengthen the data offerings provided to clients.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to enhance and expand the data product portfolio.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
- Possesses at least 6 months of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in finance and a solid understanding of financial markets.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Has a genuine interest in and understanding of the alternative assets industry.
- Experienced in using automation and programming tools such as MS Power Automate, VBA, Python, or SQL.
- Familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Has prior exposure to project management and stakeholder management responsibilities.
