Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into functional test cases, execute tests, and independently generate the necessary test data.
- Possess strong debugging skills, including log analysis and isolating problem scenarios to provide developers with precise issue details.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise in ORMB (Oracle Revenue Management and Billing) batch processing, UI, and interface testing.
- Exhibit strong working knowledge of ORMB functionalities, data models, testing methodologies, and SQL.
- Design and build test automation tools and frameworks from scratch.
- Collaborate with software engineers to understand application design and specifications, and develop comprehensive automated test suites based on application functionality.
- Develop robust automation frameworks for both web-based user interfaces and backend batch processes.
- Build custom automation tools to support test data generation, data analysis, pattern recognition, and system monitoring.
- Identify opportunities for automation across the product/project lifecycle and drive the implementation and adoption of automated testing practices and tools.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability and benefits to the organization.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment.
- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or 0.6 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another Engineering discipline with 0.6 to 2+ years of experience in application analysis/design, testing, test automation, business systems analysis, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in testing Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) batches, UIs, and interfaces, with 0.6 to 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge of ORMB functionality, testing processes, data models, and SQL.
- Experience in writing and executing functional test cases for comprehensive end-to-end application testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber (preferred).
- Passion for emerging automation technologies and trends with the ability to translate concepts into practical solutions.
- Ability to prepare test data based on real-world business scenarios, including scripting tools for data generation.
- Experience in batch testing within data warehousing environments.
- Proficient in working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including writing complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Practical experience using test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor, TestNG, Cucumber, and SoapUI.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, or React.
- Knowledge of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Familiarity with Prompt Engineering and OpenAI’s GPT is a bonus.
- Ability to work in a complex organizational structure to identify and meet business and customer needs with appropriate solutions.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and collaborating with teams across different geographies.
- A strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to promote and sustain cross-team collaboration.
