Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test scripts to validate SSD firmware for Micron NAND-based systems and solutions, focusing on functional, system-level, and customer qualification (Qual) tests.
- Gain and apply deep understanding of NVMe/PCIe specifications, NVMe Cloud SSD standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Micron’s hyperscale and datacenter customers throughout the product lifecycle to improve cycle time and enhance customer-perceived quality of SSD products.
- Communicate program and project status, issues, risks, and strategic insights effectively, including the development and use of appropriate performance indicators.
- Operate independently in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision, maintaining a focus on meeting defined goals.
- Work collaboratively across teams to accomplish shared objectives and ensure timely task completion.
- Clearly articulate validation strategies, develop comprehensive validation plans, and communicate status updates effectively.
- Design and implement firmware and device validation test plans, including test content development.
- Integrate validation tests into automated test environments and coordinate with test execution teams to drive the overall validation strategy.
- Review, track, and document test results and defects (sightings) for thorough reporting.
- Lead efforts to resolve issues by collaborating with cross-functional product development teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Possess strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including debugging techniques and proficiency in coding with Python.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain productive working relationships.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of system storage and its interaction with platform components such as CPU, memory, PCIe, drivers, operating systems, and firmware.
