Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in application design, development, testing, support, enhancements, and bug fixing activities.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements, technical architecture, integration mechanisms, and data sources.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans and execute Unit Testing and Regression Testing.
- Develop prototypes for proof of concept and to validate business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to organizational and project-specific standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Estimate effort and timelines for modules and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and release notes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain high quality standards for the application and address any defects or issues promptly.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance development and delivery efficiency.
- Participate in recruitment activities at both the team and organizational levels.
- Contribute to innovation by suggesting and exploring new technical practices for performance and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards.
- Propose and investigate new technical methodologies and practices for continuous improvement.
- Support ongoing initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing delivery outcomes.
- Actively contribute to talent acquisition and team expansion efforts.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficient in BI4.2 & BI4.3 Web Intelligence (Webi) Report Designer
- Strong hands-on experience with BI4.2 & BI4.3 Information Design Tool (IDT) and Universe Designer
- Expertise in SQL query writing, including procedural programming (e.g., Procedures, Functions, Triggers)
- Experienced in technical analysis, as well as database and data warehouse design
- Willingness and ability to learn and work with diverse technologies, including multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Self-driven and highly motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and frameworks
- Effective communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Exposure to Angular for front-end development
- Familiarity with Oracle databases
- Experience using PowerBuilder and PowerDesigner tools
