Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in the preparation of detailed test plans in collaboration with the QA and development teams.
- Prepare necessary test data and set up test environments to execute test cases efficiently.
- Execute manual test cases and log defects with complete and clear information for developers to reproduce and resolve.
- Develop effective and maintainable automation scripts to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Execute automated regression test suites during release cycles and report any identified defects.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the software testing process, methodologies, and best practices.
- Provide timely status reports and proactively highlight any risks or issues that may impact project timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with senior engineers and other stakeholders within the business unit.
- Ensure all automation scripts are reusable, maintainable, and aligned with project goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance and test automation, preferably using Python.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with virtualized environments and their configuration.
- A strong passion for delivering high-quality solutions with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
