Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for ETL/ELT processes to load structured data efficiently.
- Assemble large and complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements, and design multi-dimensional data models such as Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, including normalization, de-normalization, and dataset joins.
- Create and manage fact and dimensional tables, and ingest datasets into cloud-based tools; hands-on experience with job scheduling and automation is essential.
- Identify, design, and implement improvements to internal processes, including automating manual workflows, optimizing data delivery, and re-architecting infrastructure for improved scalability.
- Set up and maintain data ingestion pipelines, streaming processes, job scheduling, and automated monitoring systems. Ensure seamless integration between services like AWS Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, and Power BI to support uninterrupted data automation.
- Build and maintain infrastructure required for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide range of sources using SQL and big data technologies, particularly within AWS and Google Cloud ecosystems.
- Develop analytics tools that leverage data pipelines to deliver actionable insights into areas such as customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external consultants and internal IT departments, to address data-related technical challenges and support infrastructure requirements.
- Create custom data tools and solutions to support analytics and data science teams in optimizing product innovation and driving data-driven decision-making.
