Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for cloud-based applications to ensure consistent test coverage and reliability.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and expand test coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and features in order to design effective and targeted test strategies.
- Utilize AWS services to build scalable, secure, and robust test environments that support automated testing needs.
- Develop and execute automated tests for AWS-integrated services such as Kafka, ensuring message integrity, system reliability, and performance standards are met.
- Monitor and analyze automated test results, identify defects or issues, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and automation practices to improve product quality and accelerate release cycles.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure transparency and facilitate team collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in test automation for Cloud and SaaS-based applications.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in full-stack test automation, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
- Practical experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Strong understanding of Apache Kafka, including the ability to produce and consume messages for testing purposes.
- Proficient in programming with Python for developing test scripts and automation frameworks.
- Familiar with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and similar platforms.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases, including Graph DB, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience working within Agile development environments and methodologies.
- Ability to verify system architecture aspects such as stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability.
