Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on causal reasoning using potential outcomes or structural causal models.
- Develop and experiment with causal inference methodologies in Python and PyTorch.
- Utilize causal inference libraries to build, validate, and refine models.
- Apply causal reasoning techniques to improve the interpretability and robustness of large language models (LLMs).
- Collaborate with researchers to explore innovative applications of causal inference in language models.
- Present research findings through detailed reports and team discussions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. candidates preferred, with a thesis focused on causal inference or data science.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are also welcome, provided they have relevant project or prior internship experience in causal inference.
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of mathematical foundations in causal inference, including potential outcomes and structural causal models.
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and their underlying architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
- Hands-on experience with causal inference libraries.
- Ability to work independently and commit to a full-time role.
Preferred skills:
