Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Platform Specialists to gather detailed business and user requirements that define program objectives.
- Assist in preparing technical requirement documents, including system flowcharts that illustrate the flow of information through computer systems and related equipment.
- Support the analysis of business requirements to ensure that the designed solution aligns with them.
- Help transform detailed requirements into a comprehensive systems design document that focuses on delivering the required functionality.
- Assist in compiling detailed technical specifications for developers or IT programmers to implement.
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the development phase, including development procedures for application use and security.
- Identify and analyze program errors in logic and data, providing recommendations for corrections or escalating issues as needed.
- Work with relevant teams to support the installation and deployment of applications.
- Assist in preparing for and implementing solutions in a production environment.
- Support all code sets and implementations in production, ensuring adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in documenting and distributing task descriptions for operating and maintaining implemented solutions in the production environment.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Basic understanding of multi-technology application design best practices.
- Developing ability to assess application environments holistically, including hardware platforms, applications, databases, operating systems, and storage.
- Growing proficiency in working with abstract concepts, supported by strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Foundational technical knowledge in development and platform engineering.

- Basic understanding of designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automating software build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Foundational knowledge of deployment and release management across different environments.
- Basic familiarity with automation tools and source code repositories.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Preferred certifications in DevOps.
- Preferred certifications in Agile methodologies.
- Preferred certifications in cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred certifications in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
Required Experience:
- Entry-level experience in software development and support.
- Basic experience in deploying software solutions in an outsourced or similar IT environment.
- Exposure to working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies.
- Foundational experience in programming and development, including Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
