Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to customers by thoroughly investigating reported issues related to PTC’s products and addressing related queries.
- Offer guidance and best practices while adhering to quality management procedures.
- Use PTC’s case management tool to log issues, track statuses, and manage related activities in alignment with service level targets.
- Create, enhance, and publish knowledge articles for use by PTC customers, employees, and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in training programs with opportunities to train, mentor, and enhance technical expertise.
- Demonstrate a proactive and independent approach to taking on new challenges and initiatives.
- Identify and recommend product and support training opportunities to strengthen the support team’s capabilities.
- Provide support services to assist customers and field staff with the configuration and troubleshooting of PLM applications such as Windchill and Creo.
- Develop expertise in PLM applications like Windchill and Creo to improve customer support.
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards and follow the organization’s quality management procedures.
- Configure software, replicate issues using cloud or on-premise environments, troubleshoot technical problems, and collaborate with departments like R&D and QA for issue resolution.
- Communicate issue resolutions effectively to customers.
- Collaborate with global teams to provide high-quality support for mission-critical customers.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in support services or software development within a hands-on, practical, or business environment that requires both technical and soft skills.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming using Java.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working with Windows and UNIX operating systems.
- Knowledge or exposure to relational database technologies such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
