Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and statistics to develop next-generation ML-based solutions for enhancing ad recommendations and optimizing campaign performance.
- Analyze and extract insights from Swiggy’s extensive historical data to identify and implement solutions for business and customer experience (CX) challenges.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to define detailed requirements, design technical solutions, and implement end-to-end inference models at scale.
- Stay up to date with the latest research in Ads Bidding algorithms and Recommendation Systems, adapting relevant advancements to address Swiggy’s business needs.
- Present research findings and project outcomes in internal and external forums, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work on challenging and high-impact projects in the logistics domain, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including software developers and product managers, to integrate data-driven solutions into business systems.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for production use.
- Take full ownership of projects from inception to delivery, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and impactful results.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field with 0-3 years of experience in industry or research labs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems and develop solutions from first principles.
- Hands-on experience in applying machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and statistical techniques to solve business problems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and TensorFlow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with big data and deploying ML/DL models into production environments.
- Prior experience in e-commerce and logistics domains is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in Generative AI.
- Proven track record of developing and launching ML and DL-based data products.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and natural language processing (NLP).
