Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily BAU operations, including system performance monitoring, issue troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability.
- Lead and execute cloud migration projects by transferring applications and services between different cloud service providers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and provide proof of concepts (POCs) for new tools, technologies, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational workflows.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate application deployment across multiple environments.
- Work closely with engineering teams to optimize system architecture for scalability and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
- Participate in rotational on-call duties to ensure continuous operational support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, including Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and Perl/Bash.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and ArgoCD.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to infrastructure and systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
