Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including carriers, vendors, and suppliers, as well as internal teams such as retail, finance, software support, and fulfillment centers.
- Retrieve and analyze data from multiple databases using tools like Excel, Access, and SQL to generate ad hoc reports and insights.
- Develop and interpret performance metrics to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
- Define and document business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams to enhance software systems and tools used by the Transportation Operations Center (TOC).
- Quickly assess the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Identify and escalate issues or data inconsistencies to the appropriate teams, ensuring timely resolution and follow-through.
- Work within strict time constraints to meet critical business needs while tracking and optimizing key activities.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create detailed reports outlining weekly findings, variances, and recommendations for review forums.
- Provide real-time customer support in a 24/7 operational environment, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10 to 24 months of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to facilitate the flow of information between external teams.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred skills:
- Background in logistics and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL.
