Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on financial data and report findings within the designated functional area.
  • Collect internal financial data, perform analysis, and test for accuracy.
  • Review tactical issues, policies, or procedures related to risks and deliverables, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Support operational activities by maintaining ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data, following direction from the supervisor.
  • Exercise independent judgment in preparing data for research on product lines and strategic plans.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management requirements for the supported area.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in finance or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Preferred Skills:

  • Collaborate with key oversight partners, including Business Control Executives, COSO, CMoR, Finance Governance, and Audit teams, to design an optimized control environment and establish appropriate risk assessment ratings for all EAA processes.
  • Identify and extend relevant controls to contributing partners by developing procedures, training programs, and oversight functions.
  • Implement and execute financial control frameworks across all EAA processes.
  • Continuously assess the overall risk framework and identify additional controls or enhancements to mitigate identified risks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of risk and control processes.
  • Possess an understanding of the COSO Framework and apply it effectively within EAA (Expense Analytics & Allocation) processes.
  • Partner with Business Control Leaders to ensure that risks and issues are properly identified and addressed.
  • Manage the issue lifecycle from intake to closure, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews for all issues and corrective action materials.
  • Provide guidance, training, and awareness on policy and procedural requirements.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to identify risks and controls, develop remediation plans, establish remediation success criteria, and maintain control documentation.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts concisely.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of audit lifecycle and methodology.
  • Technical expertise in business operations, processes, products, and customer interactions where risks may arise.
