Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in SQL is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or similar data-centric roles.
- Experience with data pipeline and transformation tools such as dbt, Glue, FiveTran, or Alteryx.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools, including S3, Glue, Athena, and QuickSight.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, including snowflake and star schemas.
- Experience in building data pipelines and developing automated solutions for efficient data ingestion, analysis, and visualization.
- Expertise in designing ETL workflows, database structures, and optimizing queries for performance.
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, coordinating across different domains and geographies.
- Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills.
- Strong ability to quickly and thoroughly assimilate new information.
- Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Design, develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines to integrate and transform data from various sources for business intelligence, data science, and self-service data solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and data visualization teams to understand data requirements and ensure the availability of high-quality data for analytics, modeling, and reporting.
- Build data pipelines to source, transform, and load both structured and unstructured data while maintaining data security and access controls.
- Analyze large datasets with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
- Contribute to the strategy and architecture of data management systems and solutions.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Stay open to learning and working with emerging technologies in data engineering, data science, and cloud computing.
- Possess the curiosity to interrogate data, conduct independent research, utilize various techniques, and solve ambiguous problems.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of total work experience, with at least 1 year in data engineering or analytics domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other data-centric disciplines.
