Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvements in product quality by addressing rejections from customers and internal yield issues.
  • Ensure the quality of output from the manufacturing line by tracking and resolving quality issues, including customer returns.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to address supplier-related defects and coordinate RMA/RTV processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve part quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Validation and Verification (V&V) processes.
  • Adhere to quality management systems and EHS standards in all activities.
  • Identify, report, and take immediate corrective action for any quality or compliance concerns.
  • Oversee equipment calibration activities, coordinate with calibration agencies, and ensure timely completion of periodic calibrations.
  • Develop and release Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide training to production line operators.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Define incoming acceptance plans for parts to ensure quality standards.
  • Engage with customers to drive product quality improvements.
  • Implement Lean initiatives, Kaizen improvements, and other process optimization techniques.
  • Address production line breakdowns, implement fixes to minimize downtime, and collaborate with equipment manufacturers to establish preventive controls or maintenance plans.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing best practices while managing high levels of ambiguity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
