Key Responsibilities:
- Drive improvements in product quality by addressing rejections from customers and internal yield issues.
- Ensure the quality of output from the manufacturing line by tracking and resolving quality issues, including customer returns.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to address supplier-related defects and coordinate RMA/RTV processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve part quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with Validation and Verification (V&V) processes.
- Adhere to quality management systems and EHS standards in all activities.
- Identify, report, and take immediate corrective action for any quality or compliance concerns.
- Oversee equipment calibration activities, coordinate with calibration agencies, and ensure timely completion of periodic calibrations.
- Develop and release Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide training to production line operators.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Define incoming acceptance plans for parts to ensure quality standards.
- Engage with customers to drive product quality improvements.
- Implement Lean initiatives, Kaizen improvements, and other process optimization techniques.
- Address production line breakdowns, implement fixes to minimize downtime, and collaborate with equipment manufacturers to establish preventive controls or maintenance plans.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
- Experience in identifying and implementing best practices while managing high levels of ambiguity.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
