Key Responsibilities:
Business/Customer:
- Engage in minimal customer interaction under supervision.
- Understand domain processes, subprocesses, functions, and terminologies such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Control (QC) checklists.
- Perform data entry of information received from source documents into clinical or safety databases, ensuring turnaround time (TAT) and accuracy standards are met.
- Handle more critical and sensitive transactions as assigned.
Coding:
- Perform coding activities for assigned projects within specified timelines and efficiency standards.
- Import uncoded terms into the database and export coded medical terms from the coding platform.
- Manage queries effectively.
- Create and prioritize “New Term Requests” as needed.
- Perform dictionary up-versioning activities as required.
Clinical Data Management (CDM):
- Perform migration, setup, and close-out activities alongside study conduct tasks under supervision, adhering to quality checks conducted by the team lead.
- Conduct peer QC for TJDA (Task Job Data Analysis) activities.
- Generate study-related reports, provide status updates, and manage email communications with internal stakeholders and clients.
Project/Process:
- Address complex problems related to procedures or processes and escalate to the supervisor or line manager in rare cases.
- Handle the first-level processing of transactions.
- Adhere to quality standards, achieve targets, and meet turnaround time (TAT) requirements.
- Proactively identify issues and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Identify and report process changes as needed.
- Comply with mandatory industry regulations and process-specific compliance requirements.
Knowledge Management:
- Update process documentation under guidance.
- Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to enhance team understanding.
People/Team Management:
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards for:
a. Personal utilization and timesheet submissions.
b. Assimilation of new hires and personal onboarding.
c. Attendance adherence.
d. Participation in team initiatives. - Collate team performance metrics and provide regular updates.
- Manage break schedules and transport logistics for the team in the absence of a supervisor.
