Key Responsibilities:
- Define system architecture and finalize suitable Historian solutions.
- Review customer RFQs to determine the scope of work and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Develop and maintain Conceptual Design Documents.
- Install and configure database servers to support system requirements.
- Manage data ingress and egress processes to and from the database server.
- Configure I/O systems to ensure accurate data flow and integration.
- Design and develop visualization graphics and reports to meet business needs.
- Create dashboards for analytics and visual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Install and configure OPC/OEM communication drivers and servers for system connectivity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 0 to 1 year of experience in industrial software applications.
- Expertise in designing OPC/ODBC communication interfaces.
- Knowledge of QA/QC testing procedures, checklists, and record management.
- Proficiency in deploying applications on remote machines.
- Experience in configuring firewall port access.
- Skills in Lua/VB scripting for customized reports and visualizations.
- Understanding of communication protocols for connecting to target data servers.
- Ability to resolve technical queries effectively.
- Competence in project and product/solution-specific documentation.
- Support lead engineers in generating, integrating, and testing deliverables for projects or proposals.
- Assist lead engineers during acceptance testing of deliverables.
- Provide weekly progress, status updates, and issue reports to the supervisor.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in programming or coding using any object-oriented programming language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new products and functionalities.
- Adequate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to ensure successful project or proposal delivery.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Willingness to undergo technical and soft skills training as assigned by the supervisor.
- Flexibility and readiness to travel and live in any location globally for short, medium, or long-term assignments based on project or pre-sales requirements.
