Key Responsibilities:
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Anticipate client needs and provide proactive solutions to maintain excellent relationships.
- Address and resolve client incidents quickly and satisfactorily, escalating issues when necessary.
- Build effective synergy with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
Operational Excellence
- Deliver business-as-usual (BAU) activities as per agreed benchmarks and service level agreements.
- Monitor and escalate errors or incidents to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify and implement production efficiencies to optimize workflows.
- Oversee team activities to ensure high-quality outcomes and maintain controls.
- Validate deals, facilities, and outstanding transactions in Loan IQ systems.
- Review credit agreements to ensure alignment with deal structures.
- Manage loan servicing activities, including validations of participations, borrowings, rollovers, and pay-downs.
- Validate daily transfers of loan proceeds and match incoming cash accurately.
- Validate interest and fee billings for direct and agented loans and ensure accurate billing to customers.
- Handle notices for breakage fees and coordinate with agent banks and traders for accurate processing.
- Validate participant/customer confirmations for loan activities.
- Manage SWIFT payment processing and reconciliation of positions, discrepancies, and payments.
- Prepare and post manual general ledger entries when required.
- Review system-generated reports to monitor facilities, investigate discrepancies, and address expiring items.
- Perform permanent supervision controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement value-added changes across the value chain.
- Effectively manage Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Document process requirements comprehensively, obtaining periodic sign-offs from all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Guide the team in resolving complex production issues.
Risk Management
- Identify and address operational risks while remediating control gaps.
- Ensure timely closure of audit and inspection-identified cases.
- Keep the team updated on identified risk gaps and ensure timely remediation.
- Maintain process resilience by ensuring proper backups within the team.
