Basic Testing Concepts
- Possesses a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiar with various types of testing, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Knowledgeable about testing methodologies such as black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing.
Test Case Development
- Skilled in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Experienced in creating and executing detailed test scenarios.
Defect Tracking
- Proficient in using defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Adept at logging, tracking, and managing defects throughout the testing process.
Analytical Skills
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues in software products.
- Capable of thinking critically and approaching tasks systematically.
Attention to Detail
- Exhibits a keen eye for detail to identify even minor issues or discrepancies in software behavior.
Communication Skills
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective documentation and bug reporting.
- Experienced in collaborating with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
