Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing of mobile applications across multiple platforms (Android, iOS, Feature Phones) to validate functionality, usability, and performance. Participate in reviews of new products and features.
- Test Case Design and Execution: Develop detailed and comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Execute test cases, and promptly report and track defects to resolution.
- Automation Testing: Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools and frameworks like Java, Selenium, and Appium to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Application Delivery: Actively engage in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to uphold quality standards throughout the process.
- Tool Proficiency: Leverage expertise in various tools, including:
- Programming: Java
- Mobile Development: Android Studio, Xcode
- Network Analysis: WireShark
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GIT, GitLab
- Remote Access: PuTTY, WinSCP
- API Testing: Postman
- Communication & Collaboration: JIRA, SIPP
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to optimize testing strategies and ensure efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate proven experience in mobile application testing, including both manual and automation testing.
- Possess strong knowledge of software testing principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Exhibit proficiency in Java programming and experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
- Have hands-on experience working with Android and iOS platforms.
- Be skilled in using network analysis tools like WireShark for troubleshooting and testing.
- Show familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GIT, and GitLab.
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex testing challenges.
