Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive web interfaces and user experiences that align with best practices in web UX patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver intuitive and delightful user experiences while addressing customer pain points effectively.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and trustworthiness in the user interface to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop efficient applications and abstractions to support the creation of robust workflows for the team.
- Take full ownership of the product, proactively identifying and resolving bugs to ensure a seamless experience.
- Implement necessary changes to improve the product, including taking initiative to rework or rewrite components when required.
- Ensure the technical scalability and performance of UI/UX designs to support future growth.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience in building and delivering user-centric products.
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles, common web UX patterns, and anti-patterns.
- Strong ability to distinguish between effective and ineffective design.
- Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code that is easy for others to understand and work on.
- Expertise in DOM manipulation, including experience with jQuery and component-based development.
- Significant hands-on experience with ES6 and modern JavaScript practices.
- Deep understanding of browser behavior, performance optimization, compatibility, and cross-browser issues.
- Skilled in using version control tools like Git for efficient collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in CSS, including animations and responsiveness.
- Basic knowledge of architectural and design principles for scalable solutions.
- Strong foundation in coding, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of tasks, from gathering requirements to releasing the product.
- Capable of producing bug-free, production-grade code.
- Proficiency in debugging and identifying performance bottlenecks using tools such as Chrome DevTools, React DevTools, and others.
- Working knowledge of frontend frameworks and tools, with expertise in Node.js and React.js being a bonus.
