Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a member of the CTO Commercial Operations Team to support organizational goals.
- Contribute to process simplification and improvement initiatives within the team.
- Play a pivotal role in analyzing HSBC data for management reporting, aligning it with technology strategies, and enhancing the delivery of transparent and commercially focused analytics.
- Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with the CTO Business Manager, Global Finance Controller, and the global commercial operations team, providing business analytics and insights.
- Provide constructive challenges and an independent perspective to ensure informed decision-making.
- Foster strong relationships through effective communication, influence, and negotiation with business heads, senior managers, third-party consultants, technical experts, and business users across the department.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in data analysis and effective presentation of insights.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic and the ability to read and rewrite macros in Excel.
- Expertise in data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify and translate complex data into actionable insights for performance management.
- Self-motivated individual with strong skills in prioritizing and managing competing demands.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and delivery-focused, with a proven track record of completing tasks within deadlines and meeting quality standards.
- A graduate degree combined with relevant experience in commercial and financial management, particularly involving large-scale data, may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
