Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Linux stack, including the kernel, networking, storage, and application layers.
- Design, build, and maintain solutions for deployment on public and private clouds, as well as local workstations.
- Gain expertise in distributed systems concepts such as observability, identity, and tracing.
- Work with Kubernetes and other machine-oriented open-source applications.
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team comprising engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Debug issues and engage with upstream and Ubuntu communities through public interactions.
- Contribute ideas, discuss solutions, and collaborate on implementing effective outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Professional or academic experience in software delivery using Python.
- Exceptional academic performance in both high school and university.
- An undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or a compelling narrative of an alternative career path.
- Confidence to respectfully voice opinions, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations and achieve outstanding results.
- Evident passion for technology, reflected in personal projects and initiatives.

- Hands-on experience with Linux (preferably Debian or Ubuntu).

- Willingness to travel twice a year for company events, with trips lasting up to two weeks.

- Experience with machine learning libraries or tools.
- Proven ability to build highly automated machine learning solutions for the cloud.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, LXD, or Kubernetes.
- Experience working with public clouds like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Working knowledge of cloud computing principles.
- Passion for software quality and testing practices.
- Experience contributing to an open-source project.
