Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Materials and Deal Support: Collaborate with colleagues in Mumbai and other regional locations to prepare marketing materials such as company profiles, public information brochures, bulletins, benchmarking analyses, pricing updates, earnings summaries, treasury pitching materials, credit analysis, and competitor analysis. Additionally, support colleagues across various geographies on execution projects.
- Financial Analysis: Gain an understanding of financial statements and learn to analyze them. Set up trading and transaction comparables, valuation models, and financial metric benchmarks for companies.
- Research: Source and interpret company and industry information from various data sources, including company reports, the internet, online databases, and proprietary J.P. Morgan content. Develop insights on specific industries and track developments, potential opportunities, and new client prospecting.
- Industry or Product Coverage: Collaborate with colleagues in Mumbai and other regional locations to develop and apply industry and geographic market fundamentals, including the impact of economic/market conditions, competitive landscape, risks, and trends for global clients. Track a set of clients, emerging sectors, and product themes to identify and pitch potential ideas.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold an undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with an excellent academic record and a strong interest in building a career in finance.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts.
- Pay close attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality output under pressure, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills, integrity, and the ability to collaborate with teams across different geographies. Be proactive, a self-starter, and capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
Preferred skills:
- Possess a strong analytical mindset and strong quantitative skills.
- Have an understanding of banking solutions and services, along with knowledge of analyzing company financials and financial modeling skills using MS Office applications (a plus).
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards and ensure regulatory compliance within the firm.
