This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code and program enhancements, updates, and modifications for specific portions and subsystems of end-user application software across local, networked, and internet-based platforms, following detailed requirements and instructions.
- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned code segments; identify, log, and debug issues as needed.
- Build an understanding of and foster relationships with internal and outsourced development partners involved in software application design and development.
- Collaborate as part of a project team with other software application engineers and development partners to create reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with or knowledge of software application design tools and programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with designing software applications for multiple platform types.
- Basic knowledge of testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, with fluency in English and the local language.
Preferred skills:
- Cross-domain knowledge, design thinking, and development fundamentals.
- Proficiency in full stack development and release management.
- Security-first mindset and focus on user experience (UX).
