Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to address business challenges, applying advanced analytical methods as necessary.
- Regularly monitor and forecast key business metrics to provide proactive insights.
- Lead planning sessions and reviews of key performance metrics to support adaptive strategies.
- Define and track the appropriate metrics to assess progress toward business objectives.
- Design, implement, and measure experiments to validate business hypotheses.
- Accelerate root cause analysis and insight generation through automation and self-serve platforms for recurring use cases.
- Develop impactful narratives using business insights that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Business, Product, and Data Engineering teams to enhance data accuracy through continuous feedback and improvements in instrumentation quality and completeness.
Key Responsibilities for Analyst- Business Finance:
- Utilize Excel and SQL to analyze, interpret, and generate reports based on data requests.
- Analyze and monitor transactions, identifying gaps in processes and suggesting improvements.
- Enhance or implement processes with a strong understanding of business operations and underlying data.
- Manage finance, product, and analytics data reporting, and provide support with ad-hoc analyses across various projects.
- Perform data reconciliation and report financial figures on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
- Ensure timely delivery of results by consistently meeting strict deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance or Engineering, with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proven experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
- Proficient in data manipulation tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Excel.
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms like Power BI and Tableau.
- Understanding of fundamental statistical frameworks, including measures of central tendency, dispersion, distribution, and significance testing.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques, including regression and classification methods.
