Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong partnerships with business units to identify and explore impactful analytics opportunities and operational improvements that drive efficiency and cost reduction.
- Establish a monitoring framework for business initiatives and promptly alert the business unit in case of issues.
- Support data requests and perform data analysis for tax audits.
- Develop advanced data visualizations and analytics driven by insights.
- Conduct post-launch monitoring to measure the performance of features and programs, and provide reports to product and business teams.
- Foster a self-serve analytics culture by educating partners on key reports, data, and best practices for interpretation.
- Collaborate closely with other business functions such as Customer Service, Legal, and Finance to ensure cross-functional visibility and alignment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and ability to work comfortably in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent technical skills for data analysis and process development, particularly with SQL.
- Proficient in data visualization and self-serve tools like Tableau.
- Python and Alteryx skills are an added advantage.
- Proven track record of end-to-end analytics, including problem definition, data collection, result analysis, synthesizing insights, and effectively communicating recommendations to influence stakeholders.
- Experienced in handling big data platforms such as Hadoop and Teradata, with agile methodology experience.
- Ability to translate commercial requirements into effective software solutions.
- Capable of working independently while collaborating as part of a global tax team.
- Experience in advanced analytics, with proven knowledge in SQL and Python, is highly beneficial.
