Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the core business of AXP and the factors influencing key decisions.
- Analyze large datasets to generate business insights and propose innovative solutions.
- Utilize the Amex closed-loop network to enhance decision-making intelligence and relevance.
- Focus on innovation by developing new and improved approaches using big data and machine learning solutions.
- Clearly articulate and structure business findings across prospect and customer domains for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in Finance, Payments, and Analytics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 0-30 months of experience in analytics and big data projects.
Preferred skills:
- Proven ability to deliver project outcomes aligned with business objectives.
- Effective team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative problem solver with the ability to quickly learn and independently manage complex, unstructured projects.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners globally.
- Proficiency in SAS, R, Python, Hive, Spark, SQL.
- Knowledge of unsupervised and supervised learning techniques including active learning, transfer learning, neural networks, decision trees, reinforcement learning, graphical models, Gaussian processes, Bayesian models, MapReduce, and feature engineering.
- Expertise in coding, algorithm design, and high-performance computing.
