Key Responsibilities:
- Test Case Design and Execution
- Play a key role in understanding test requirements and designing test cases for the product.
- Develop test plans based on business requirements and testable criteria.
- Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach to generate efficient test cases.
- Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture relevant test cases while managing version control.
- Define the criteria, scope, and parameters for testing, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate the test lifecycle using tools like VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
- Automation Framework and Test Execution
- Design and implement the automation framework, including reporting mechanisms.
- Automate software validation tests by setting up test environments, developing test plans, writing test cases, and executing them.
- Ensure that defects raised during testing are well-documented with clear descriptions and replication steps.
- Detect and report bugs, documenting defect reports and tracking test progress.
- Deliver work items within Wipro’s or customer-defined SLAs and ensure no rejection or slippage.
- Design and release the test status dashboard after every test cycle for stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, linking results to quality risks, and reporting them to relevant stakeholders.
- Status Reporting and Customer Interaction
- Maintain high-quality communication with customers through emails, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
- Ensure timely delivery of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository.
- Accurately log efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project trackers.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no complaints are raised internally or externally.
